Dear Friends and Supporters, 

I hope this message finds you well. Today, I want to share with you the deeply personal reason behind the creation of our foundation. It is a story of love, loss, and unwavering commitment. 

February 27, 2023, I lost my beloved mother, Audrey Armstrong, to complications from Alzheimer’s disease. Her journey was marked by moments of confusion, frustration, and heartache. Witnessing her gradual decline was both painful and eye-opening. It made me realize that Alzheimer’s disproportionately affects women, and yet, there is still so much we do not understand about this devastating condition. 

In memory of my mother and countless other women who have faced Alzheimer’s, I founded our organization. Our mission is twofold: 

1. Research      and Awareness: We are dedicated to closing the      knowledge gap surrounding women’s brain health. Two-thirds of Alzheimer’s      cases belong to women, yet research has often overlooked this gender      disparity. Through partnerships with leading institutions, such as the      Women’s Alzheimer’s Movement Prevention and Research Center at Cleveland      Clinic, we fund critical research. Our goal is to uncover why Alzheimer’s      discriminates against women and communities of color. 
2. Empowerment      and Support: We believe that education is key to      prevention. Our foundation provides resources, tools, and information to      empower women and their families. Whether it is understanding lifestyle      factors that may reduce risk or learning about early detection, we are      committed to preparing individuals for the impact of Alzheimer’s. Purpose:      To raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s research and care
